Smoked Salmon Pizza
Ingredients
2 cans alder smoked salmon, drained and flaked
1 prepared pizza crust or Italian bread shell (12 inches or 16 oz.)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 clove garlic—minced
1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, cut into chunks
1/3 cup very thin slices red onion
2 cups (8oz.) shredded smoked Swiss or mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1 tbsp. drained bottled capers (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 F. Place pizza crust on cookie sheet or pizza pan.
Combine oil and garlic; brush evenly over pizza crust.
Arrange salmon and cream cheese over pizza.
Top with red onion, cheese, dill and, if desired, capers.
Bake 12 to 15 minuts or untill edges of crust are crisp and cheese is melted.
Cut into wedges.
Serves 4 adults or 1 teenager.
